Robert
The room at Bella Vista Motel Napier was perfect for our one-night stay. It had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed, a clean ensuite bathroom with a refreshing shower, and a convenient microwave kitchenette for breakfast. The LCD TV in the lounge with Sky made our evening even more enjoyable. We loved the cozy and relaxed atmosphere of the room, making us feel right at home.
Personally, I would have preferred a larger bed, but I understand that others may find the Queen or King size bed perfectly comfortable.

Friendly host, resolved issues promptly. Attention to detail with milk in glass bottle. Courteous Philippine receptionist. Comfortable, basic room. Excellent location near beach, offices, shops, restaurants. Helpful owners, clean, modern, and convenient to town. Ideal for location, facilities, and price. Can get hot in summer despite small fan.

We stayed at Bella Vista Motel for a weekend getaway and it was fantastic. The owner was incredibly helpful and even stored our bikes in her private garage. The location was perfect, with shops and eateries within walking distance. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, and having air conditioning was a bonus. We also appreciated the daily cleaning service and the plunger coffee provided. The fridge was a handy size and there were plenty of appliances available, such as an iron, ironing board, and electric fan. We would definitely book Bella Vista again.
Can recommend this hotel.

Owners know little of what to see or what to do in Napier. They need to get out and get to know the area.Despite this they try to be helpful

Upon checking- i was asked to pay- i thought this was a little unusual. as you usually dont pay until you check out. i paid and thought no more of it- until i checked out and payment was demanded once again. stating that they would never ask anyone to pay upon check in. unless it was due exceptional circumstances. i then had to ask for the receipts from the previous day to be checked- it was then confirmed that i did pay. no apology. wasnt very happy with this.

The hotel's decoration was lovely, with a cozy and charming feel that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself. It was a delight to navigate around the hotel, with everything within reach and no need to climb stairs or walk long distances. The children working there were always ready to assist and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay.
A wider variety of activities for senior people would have made the vacation even better.

Disabled unit. Although we are not disabled, I felt access could have been quite difficult for someone in a wheelchair.

I adored the charming and cozy decor of the hotel. The vintage-style furniture and elegant artwork gave the place a homely and comforting atmosphere. The general areas were always immaculate, and it was lovely to relax in the cozy lounge with a cup of tea. As a senior, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility - everything was conveniently located on one level, making it easy for me to navigate. The staff were always kind and helpful, ensuring I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay.
If I had just one small request for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be for the children working there to be a bit more attentive to the needs of older guests. A little extra assistance with carrying luggage or offering assistance without being asked would greatly enhance the overall experience.
